Principle Of MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOE

The inlet pressure sensor is the absolute pressure of the intake manifold of the rear door of the solar term, which according to the size of detection engine speed and load changes in the manifold absolute pressure, and then converted into a voltage signal to the engine control unit (ECU), ECU according to the size of the signal voltage to control the size of the basic fuel injection quantity.

There are many kinds of pressure sensors, such as varistor, capacitance and so on. Because of its advantages of fast response time, high detection precision, small size and flexible installation, the varistor is widely used in the D injection system.

Figure 1 is a connection between a varistor pressure sensor and a computer. Figure 2 is the working principle of varistor type intake pressure sensor, R in Figure 1 is 2 R1, R2, R3 strain, R4, they form a Wheatstone bridge and the silicon diaphragm bonded together. The silicon diaphragm can be deformed under the absolute pressure of the manifold, resulting in the change of the R value of the strain resistance. The higher the absolute pressure in the manifold, the greater the deformation of the silicon diaphragm. The greater the resistance R's resistance is, the greater the variation of resistance is. The mechanical change of the silicon diaphragm is transformed into an electrical signal and then amplified by an integrated circuit and then output to ECU.
